This term we are learning about colour-mixing. We decided to do some paintings of Autumn leaves. First we collected the leaves. Next we drew leaf shapes on our paper with chalk. We filled the negative spaces with cold colours and the leaves (positive spaces) with warm colours. After that we drew the inside patterns with pastel. We were really happy with how they turned out.
